Twistix Potato, Di Ka Na Nag-iisa! (You’re Not Alone). . . Here Comes Twist Potato and Twist Chipstix

courtesy of twistix potato During the last Franchising 2010 Expo a few weeks ago, Twistix Potato was the darling as there were long lines of people who wanted to buy the expensive P50/P70 sticks of twisted potato. My blog also got so many inquiries of how to get in touch with Twistix.

Now, things are different. . . . I attended the first day of the Food & Drinks Expo 2010 at the World Tradecourtesy of Twist Potato Center and I saw long lines again of people wanting to buy twisted potato except this time the line was. . . . not on Twistix but. . . . at Twist Potato!!! And take note, PRICING IS p50 AND P60 NA LANG. . . . PRICE WAR!!!!!!!! What will happen to the franchisee if prices keep on dropping even before these 2 franchises even start to gain market acceptance??? BEWARE!!

And as I rounded the corner, Woe and Behold. . . . another twist potato called Twist Chipstix!!!!!!!

A franchisor friend of mine was saying the twist potato could be a fad as the pricing of P50/P70 is stiff (expensive).

I remembered last year or so, there was this franchise called Ribbon Potato (looks like shaved and twisted potato but served in a box like potato corner) and now, I don’t seem to see them anymore.

By the way, I am conducting a One-on-One Consultation on How to Setup and Operate Your Own Lotto Outlet. Topics include How to Evaluate a Site for Lotto, The Proper Way to Apply with the PCSO, Actual Operations, How to Prevent Fraud, How to Compete Against Other Lotto Outlets and many more. Please allot at least 2 hours for each session. My fee is only P2,000 per person (Group discount available). Just text me your full name and “Lotto Setup” to 0922-8831225 or call 514-2905 for details.

Acquiring a Lotto outlet is a lot cheaper than purchasing a Franchise from Zagu (P320,000) or Siomai House (P250,000) and it is simple to operate.

Latest news: PCSO has lowered the Cash Bond requirement and an individual is now allowed to own 3 lotto outlets.

    • cyndee, i do not represent twistix. I blog about the latest franchises. try to visit the Asia Food Expo now and ask the organizer for the twistix tel. They also handled the Expo where twistix exhibited

  2. madali lang naman gumaya ng franchise …… the problem is can you sustain this …. do you have the backbone to support the franchisee or your kiosk …….

another issue is supply ……. potato is a difficult vegetable to grow because of its seasonality ……… kung sino nauuna sa merkado usually gets the good suppliers … kaya ingat kayo when getting a franchise mura nga nila binibenta ang product pero can they sustain the concept …….. usually yung mga nangagaya di nagtatagal sa negosyo …. kaya try to validate

    • YES I agree with some of your points. I used to work for a snack company and at that time CArol-Anns had the best potato chip (big crispy chips just like ruffles) but their price was so expensive and supply was terrible as the potatos from Baguio did not meet their quality: high starch content lead to burned parts, unreliable supply etc. . . Another good point given by a Siomai franchisor to me and that is: Before getting any franchise, check-out their Supply chain capabilities.
